DeFi Development Corp added approximately 47,706 SOL to its treasury since September 21, bringing total holdings to around 2,538,010 SOL and equivalents, valued at about 309 million dollars. The treasury has grown about 10% since the company's August 12 earnings update. The latest addition represents roughly 2% week-over-week growth. The company's strategy focuses on accumulating and compounding Solana rather than holding it idle, which may include staking and other methods to generate additional returns. DeFi Development Corp has also developed preferred-stock products around this strategy, including its CHAD security with a 13% annual dividend rate. The company plans to continue accumulating SOL, with the value creation depending on various factors, including financing methods and asset performance.
