Doosan Group Acquires 70.6% Stake in SK Siltron for 2.3 Trillion Won

Doosan Group of South Korea has signed an agreement to acquire a 70.6% stake in semiconductor manufacturer SK Siltron for 2.3 trillion won. This transaction will enhance Doosan's competitiveness in the semiconductor industry. SK Siltron is the only semiconductor silicon wafer manufacturer in South Korea and ranks third in global market share. The 29.4% stake held by SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won is not included in this acquisition. Last year, SK Siltron's corporate valuation exceeded 50 trillion won.
