Ethereum's 11th Anniversary: Co-founders Take Different Paths

Ethereum (ETH) celebrates the 11th anniversary of its genesis block, with the eight initial co-founders pursuing diverse paths in research, infrastructure projects, and launching separate chains. The Ethereum genesis block was created on July 30, 2015. Vitalik Buterin remains a central figure in the Ethereum ecosystem, publishing articles on scalability, security, and governance in blogs and research forums. Charles Hoskinson has become a key figure in the Cardano ecosystem, while Gavin Wood has moved on to Parity Technologies and the Polkadot ecosystem. Joseph Lubin is connected to Ethereum infrastructure through ConsenSys, which is facing allegations from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for being an unregistered broker and selling unregistered securities. Anthony Di Iorio has distanced himself from the cryptocurrency industry, and Mihai Alisie is known for Bitcoin Magazine and the Akasha project. Amir Chetrit and Jeffrey Wilcke have relatively low public profiles. Their dispersed paths illustrate that Ethereum has grown into a network that does not rely on a single founder.
