Since 2022, Gate Technology Ltd has been providing compliant services in Europe with its VFA Class 4 License obtained from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). In addition, the Company's subsidiary in Italy has completed the registration as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) with the Organismo di Autodisciplina di Click Pubblicità (OAM) in 2024. After the brand upgrade, these two entities will continue to operate under the global brand Gate.io to provide enhanced services to European users.

Gate.io is recognized as one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges with over 22 million users. This renaming is a key step for the Company to further develop in the European market.
