General Intuition Negotiates New Round of Financing at $6 Billion Valuation
New York-based AI startup General Intuition is negotiating a financing round with a pre-money valuation of $6 billion. Investors include Valor Equity Partners, Point72 Ventures, and Seven Seven Six, with existing investors Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst also participating in this round. The company focuses on building foundational models to train general AI agents to navigate through time and space. This financing comes just weeks after General Intuition completed a $320 million funding round at a $2.3 billion valuation. CEO Pim de Witte spun the company out from the video game clip sharing platform Medal last October, leveraging hundreds of millions of hours of gaming data and player interaction records as the initial training dataset. General Intuition is rapidly becoming one of the hottest startups in the field of physical AI.
