Hunter Biden denies LAPTOP team sold tokens amid profit allegations
Hunter Biden stated on X that the LAPTOP team wallet has not sold any tokens, rejecting claims that the team profited tens of millions of dollars from token sales. Earlier, Market Insider reported that the market capitalization of the Hunter Biden-themed memecoin LAPTOP had dropped below 25 million dollars, down 99.9% since its launch, while suggesting the team had made significant profits. In response, Biden questioned the source of that estimate, acknowledged the poor launch of LAPTOP, and promised to disclose accounting records. He emphasized that anyone estimating profits in the tens of millions should be able to identify the involved wallet. CoinMarketCap reports that LAPTOP is currently trading at 0.0734 dollars, up 1.81%.
