INFINIT Launches Custodial Trading Vault APEX Multi-Strategy
INFINIT launched its custodial trading vault framework on October 12, 2026, with the first vault being APEX Multi-Strategy, aimed at qualified Hyperliquid markets with an open interest of at least $100 million. Depositors can deposit USDC within a specified window and receive receipt tokens representing their shares. The strategy manager will trade within a fixed period, and at the end of the term, holders can redeem their shares based on the vault's USDC value, after deducting fees. The manager sets fees, lock-up periods, deposit windows, risk limits, and strategies. Deposits are held in a 3-of-4 multisig, with keys distributed between INFINIT and the operations team. Trading vouchers can be opened and closed, but depositor funds cannot be withdrawn. INFINIT provides a shared trading wallet and weekly performance reports. INFINIT OS covers strategy research and testing, vault setup, share accounting, controlled execution, risk monitoring, and investor reporting, supporting the legal framework for strategy managers, regulated fund licenses, and fund management. Managers must accept deposits through INFINIT Standard, including identity verification, prior loss capital contributions, live trading record demonstrations, and declarations of market, leverage, exposure, and drawdown limits. The first vault is operated by Apex Quantitative Capital, with a strategy based on a systematic CTA momentum model, covering equities, commodities, and crypto, maintaining a dollar-neutral book.

The Wormhole (W) price rose more than 60% in 24 hours on October 11 and 12, 2026, and about 100% over seven days on KuCoin's data. Sources link the move to altcoin rotation, not a new Wormhole event.
