Jensen Huang Calls Cutting-Edge AI Labs an Investment Opportunity
NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang stated in an interview with CNBC that cutting-edge AI labs like OpenAI and Anthropic are companies that appear "once in a generation." NVIDIA aims to become their supplier, investor, and long-term partner. He pointed out that the customer base and token usage of these AI companies are rapidly growing, with the limiting factor for their expansion being computing power rather than demand. Although these companies lack sufficient financial track records, making low-cost financing difficult, NVIDIA is able to provide support. Huang believes that investing in these cutting-edge AI companies could be "one of the best investments ever" and noted that this is a technological wave that only comes around once in a generation. Due to the versatility of NVIDIA GPUs, even if a particular customer encounters issues, the computing power can be redirected to other customers, meaning the overall risk is not as high as perceived by outsiders.
