Kalshi CEO: Leading Candidates in Prediction Markets Win 479 out of 487 Elections, 98% Success Rate
Kalshi co-founder and CEO Tarek Mansour stated that in yesterday's U.S. elections, leading candidates in the prediction markets won 479 out of the first 487 elections, achieving a success rate of 98%. He pointed out that elites in Washington, D.C. had previously underestimated these markets, believing that participants did not understand politics, while ordinary citizens accurately expressed their judgments through prediction markets. The prediction markets allow local knowledge, which is dispersed across various regions, to be aggregated, enabling participants to voice their opinions without needing titles or large fan bases, thus changing the structure of information power.
