By: www.tokenpost.kr|2026/09/14 15:03:54

Joseph Lubin, CEO of ConsenSys, will engage in a public discussion on September 17 regarding institutional Ethereum (ETH) staking. The allocation of $200 million for Ethereum staking by Sharplink Gaming will be a key agenda item. Lido has announced that Lubin and Joseph Shalom, CEO of Sharplink Gaming, will participate in the 'Poolside: Institutional' community call. The two will discuss trends in institutional Ethereum staking and the Lido-based staking structure of Sharplink Gaming. Sharplink Gaming announced on August 13 that it would stake $200 million of its Ethereum financial assets through Lido. In return for staking, it will receive wrapped staking Ether (wstETH), and the staked Ethereum will be held by Anchorage Digital. wstETH is a token that reflects the rewards and liquidity of staked Ethereum, which Sharplink Gaming can use as collateral or liquidity assets within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. Institutional Ethereum management is expanding from simple holding to staking, and this community call will address cases of companies managing Ethereum as a staking asset. The start time of the event has not been disclosed, and the community call will cover specific explanations regarding institutional staking demand, custody structures, and liquidity management.
