Malware targets multichain crypto wallets on fake GTA 6 leak site

Malware targeting cryptocurrency wallets on networks including Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, and Phantom was discovered on a fraudulent website claiming to offer a downloadable leak of Rockstar Games' upcoming title 'GTA 6.' The site charges users either 50 dollars or 1 SOL for access to the supposed leak and prompts them to connect their wallets. If users approve a fraudulent transaction, they risk losing both the purchase amount and the cryptocurrency in their wallets. Previously, an anonymous hacker who leaked unreleased 'GTA 6' footage promoted a Solana-based memecoin named CYBERLEEK and sold all holdings just before the official gameplay footage was released.
