Microsoft CEO Nadella: Companies Need to Control Data and AI Usage Experience

On July 26, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated in an interview with CNBC that a key competitive advantage for companies in the AI era is controlling their own data and AI usage experience. He introduced the concept of the "reverse information paradox," pointing out that companies generate a large amount of process data when using AI models. If this data is held by external models, companies may lose the ability to train and optimize AI in the future. Nadella believes that companies should separate the model and tool layers from their own data to leverage powerful AI models while retaining their data assets and control. He warned that companies unable to master their own AI capabilities are essentially outsourcing their "thinking ability."
