A miner successfully mined Bitcoin block 957382 on July 12 using a Bitaxe ASIC miner with a hash rate of approximately 1 TH/s, claiming the full block reward of 3.1382 BTC, valued at around $200,000. The device was not overclocked and mined through the zero-fee Public Pool, retaining 100% of the block subsidy and transaction fees. Its effective share difficulty reached 294.14T, more than double the required 133.87T for block solving. With a 1 TH/s hash rate, it is estimated that it would take about 16,000 years on average to mine a single block, making this event extremely rare, although its daily winning probability is still about 53 times higher than that of buying a lottery ticket.
