"Pal" ETH and HYPE Long Rekt Simultaneously, Liquidated Again After Replenishing Funds Yesterday, Shrinking to Less Than 50K
BlockBeats News, February 6th, according to HyperInsight monitoring, in the past 1 hour, the ETH and HYPE long positions of "Buddy" Huang Licheng were liquidated 10 times in a row, with a total liquidation value of approximately $1.6 million. The specific liquidation details are as follows:
ETH Longs: Liquidated 480 coins, approximately $900,000, reducing the position size to $600,000 after liquidation.
HYPE Longs: Liquidated 21,280 coins, approximately $702,000, reducing the position size to $480,000 after liquidation.
Prior to this, Huang Licheng had recharged his account with approximately $275,000 yesterday. After this round of liquidation, this fund has shrunk to less than $50,000. His ETH long position is now only 1.6% away from the next liquidation.
"Buddy" Huang Licheng is a Taiwanese artist who has previously profited from blue-chip NFTs. He has been active on the Hyperliquid platform since mid-2025. Since October of the same year, he has repeatedly experienced massive liquidations, with his total holdings shrinking from over $100 million to the current level of tens of thousands of dollars.
