Pangram Completes $9 Million Funding Round, Launches Next-Generation AI Detection Model

New York-based AI detection startup Pangram has announced the completion of a $9 million funding round, led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Haystack, ScOp, Script Capital, and Cadenza. Pangram has launched its next-generation AI text detection model, Pangram 4, which boasts an accuracy rate of over 99%. This model can identify AI-assisted writing, mixed human-machine content, and text generated by AI impersonation programs. Additionally, the AI image detection model, Pangram Image, is currently in research preview, utilizing pixel-level distribution analysis to recognize AI-generated images across models and detect AI images present in real photographs.
