Potential Bitcoin Losses Reach 3.56 Million Coins, Accounting for 17.7% of Circulating Supply

The amount of Bitcoin that can be considered lost has risen to a record high of 3.56 million BTC, approximately 17.7% of the circulating supply. This statistic refers to BTC that has not moved for over 10 years. Although in rare cases some long-dormant Bitcoins may become active again, overall, this long-term inactive supply continues to increase. In the past 30 days, over 14,000 BTC have entered this long-term dormant supply category, resulting in a natural decrease in the actual circulating Bitcoin supply.
