Ripple Expands Development Toolkit to Support MPP Payment Standard

Ripple has expanded its XRP Ledger development toolkit to include support for the Machine Payment Protocol (MPP) created by Stripe and Tempo, providing developers with a new way to use cryptocurrency payment data, calculations, and other online services through AI agents. The XRPL AI Starter Kit version 1.1 adds support for both MPP and the Open Wallet Standard, which allows software to manage wallets across multiple blockchains through a universal interface. Ripple had previously added support for the x402 network payment standard in June, and now supports both MPP and x402 standards simultaneously.
