Robinhood Chain Achieves $1.5 Billion in DEX Trading Volume and $114 Million in Fees in August

Robinhood Chain launched its mainnet on July 1, 2026. By the end of August, the on-chain Total Value Locked (TVL) increased to $711 million, with on-chain gas revenue reaching $6.6 million in August. Most of the trading volume in August came from Uniswap, with daily on-chain fees peaking at $2.1 million on August 31. Robinhood operates the sequencer and earns approximately 90% of the on-chain fees. After deducting Ethereum settlement costs and the 10% licensing fee paid to Arbitrum DAO, the net income for August was about $6 million. Users of Robinhood Earn increased their deposits by lending USDG through Morpho, growing from $9.5 million on July 1 to $456 million by August 31, accounting for 68% of the TVL at the end of the month. Users estimated an annualized yield of around 7%, while the loan side yield was approximately 3.7% at the end of August. By the end of August, over 340,000 tokens had been issued on-chain, with meme tokens paired with Robinhood Stock Tokens achieving a trading volume of $518 million in August. On-chain trading activities were primarily driven by crypto-native users, and Robinhood's 27 million funded accounts have not yet migrated en masse to the chain. The gas subsidy for the Robinhood wallet will continue until September 29, and the Earn yield program will gradually decrease.
