According to official news, the privacy public chain Secret Network announced that it will migrate to the Arbitrum ecosystem, and the SCRT token will be converted to an ERC-20 token on Arbitrum. The migration is scheduled for a snapshot on September 1, 2026. Native SCRT and staked SCRT will be automatically migrated, but sSCRT, SCRT in contracts or liquidity pools, SCRT cross-chain to other chains, and IBC bridge tokens are not included in the migration scope and must be converted to native or staked status before September 1.

After the migration, SCRT will still be a governance token, and the team proposes to reduce the inflation rate from 9% to 5%. After the migration is completed, SCRT Labs will stop maintaining Secret Network and open source all code. This proposal needs to be voted on by community governance. Coingecko data shows that the SCRT token is currently priced at $0.03965, with a 24-hour decline of 30.7%.
