SquareTech Promotes Stablecoin Payment Service with Goat Network
SquareTech has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Goat Network to introduce an AI agent-based stablecoin payment service. DAC Labs also participated in the agreement to provide technical support for Goat Network. The two companies are exploring ways to integrate Goat Network's AI agent payment technology into a stablecoin payment program for foreign tourists. This program will allow foreign tourists to make payments at domestic merchants using dollar stablecoins after authenticating with a mobile passport. In the future, they plan to expand the scope of cooperation to include digital gift cards and vouchers. SquareTech will be responsible for domestic business development and securing merchants, while Goat Network will provide AI payment technology, and DAC Labs will support technical integration and security reviews. Safety measures will be established to reduce payment risks associated with AI agents, and verifiable on-chain identities based on the ERC-8004 standard will be granted. The initial service will utilize dollar stablecoins, and once domestic laws and regulations are established, support for Korean won stablecoins will also be provided.
