Trader Pays $36,000 Bribe to Front-Run Purchase of Cow Token, Loses $14,000

A news trader paid $36,000 for front-running trades after the announcement of the Cow Token listing, ultimately losing $14,000. The trader bribed the BNB48 Club with 42.4 BNB (worth $31,000), used 200 BNB (worth $150,000) to purchase 1.422 million Cow Tokens (at a price of $0.10), and paid 6.87 BNB ($5,150) as gas fees. He then sold all tokens at $0.12, converting back to 172,000 USDC, resulting in a profit of $22,000. However, after deducting the bribe and gas fees, he faced a net loss of $14,000.
