Trust Wallet Introduces Feature to Reduce Tron Transfer Fees by Up to 40%

Trust Wallet has introduced a feature that automatically rents the energy and bandwidth needed for Tron (TRX) transfers and dApp usage. This feature can reduce transfer costs by up to 40%. On August 19, Trust Wallet announced the integration of TronPay through its blog. Users can automatically borrow energy and bandwidth at a lower rental cost than the standard network fees when sending tokens on the Tron network. The payment asset is automatically selected between TRX or Tether (USDT), and users can check the estimated costs before transaction approval. Tron’s fee structure is divided into energy and bandwidth, which can be secured through TRX staking or delegation. If resources are insufficient, TRX will be burned to cover the costs. Resource delegation occurs within 3 to 5 seconds after payment confirmation, and if there is enough energy, transactions are processed without burning TRX. User reactions have been mixed; while some welcomed the cheaper and easier transfers, there were complaints about the default settings. Trust Wallet offers this feature in the latest app, and users need to check the order of applying automatic rental costs and existing energy based on transaction conditions.
