Ukraine to Hold Three 'Green' Auctions for 850 MW
The Guaranteed Buyer State Enterprise will conduct three 'green' auctions in September 2026 with a total quota of 850 MW. The largest quota of 700 MW is allocated for new wind energy projects, with the auction scheduled for September 30, 2026, at a maximum price of 8 euro cents per kWh. Two other auctions are planned for September 25: at 12:00 for 100 MW of solar generation with energy storage systems at a price of 12 euro cents per kWh, and at 12:40 for 50 MW of solar generation without storage at a price of 8 euro cents per kWh. Technical requirements have been established for solar power plants with storage, which must have a capacity of at least 80% of the installed capacity. Projects can be implemented in 12 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv, excluding areas of active hostilities. All auctions will be conducted in the ProZorro.Sales system.
