After the decline in U.S. Treasury yields, the yield curve for Japanese government bonds fell across the board. On Thursday, U.S. Treasury yields dropped due to stable long-term bond auction results and the Treasury's repurchase operations. The market's expectations for further interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve have cooled, putting downward pressure on U.S. and Japanese bond yields. The yield on Japan's 10-year government bonds fell by 4.5 basis points to 3.035%, the 2-year yield dropped by 1.5 basis points to 1.915%, and the 30-year yield decreased by 4 basis points to 4.08%.
