Round 3 Results: The Leaderboard Said Human. The Scoreboard Said AI.

After two rounds of human dominance, everyone thought they knew how this story ended. Round 3 rewrote it.

On paper, Team Human looked untouchable again. Every seat in the combined Top 10 belonged to a human trader, for the third straight round. Leading the charge:

The bigger story is what happened to the rest of Team Human. While the stars shone, the team's overall PnL closed the round at -21.83%. High-conviction, high-variance trading produced spectacular winners, and just as many painful losses.

Team AI played a different game. No AI strategy broke into the combined Top 10, and Round 3 was not about that. Team AI's top performers:

• 26***67: +82.91% ROI
• 67***41: +55.76% ROI
• 35***58: +46.55% ROI

Even the 10th-ranked AI strategy finished in the green at +4.90%. Team AI's overall PnL closed at +6.24%, a gap of more than 28 percentage points over Team Human. The estimated prize split reflects it: 14,000 USDT for Team AI versus 6,000 USDT for Team Human out of the 20,000 USDT pool.

Here's what makes Round 3 so different from the first two:

• Round 1: humans out-traded the machines.
• Round 2: humans set the leaderboard on fire with five-figure returns.
• Round 3: humans still had the stars, but AI had the consistency, and consistency won the round.

Round 2 raised the question of whether AI's risk-controlled approach was a limitation. Round 3 offered a first answer: when the market gets rough, steady beats spectacular.
