Segundo o Cointelegraph, o principal indicador que mede a participação institucional no mercado de criptomoedas, o prêmio da Coinbase, caiu para um território negativo mais profundo, indicando um aumento na pressão de venda por parte das instituições. Este prêmio tem sido majoritariamente negativo desde o final de abril, acelerando seu declínio nos últimos sete dias e registrando uma mínima mensal de -0,0983%. O analista da CryptoQuant, Darkfost, afirmou que a pressão de venda das instituições se intensificou recentemente, sugerindo que instituições e investidores profissionais que operam na Coinbase Advanced estão vendendo de forma mais agressiva do que os investidores na Binance.
Desde 14 de maio, o ETF de Bitcoin à vista dos EUA registrou saídas líquidas por quatro dias consecutivos de negociação, totalizando US$ 1,3 bilhão. O interesse em aberto de futuros e contratos perpétuos de Bitcoin diminuiu cerca de US$ 1,5 bilhão esta semana. O Bitcoin caiu 4,5% na última semana, atingindo uma mínima mensal acima de US$ 76.000 na terça-feira.
