Segundo a Fortune, a plataforma de negociação de derivativos descentralizada Variational anunciou a conclusão de uma rodada de financiamento Série A de US$ 50 milhões, liderada pela Dragonfly Capital, com a participação da Bain Capital Crypto e da Coinbase Ventures.
A empresa está sediada nas Ilhas Cayman e dedica-se a construir um protocolo de derivativos on-chain para traders institucionais e do mercado financeiro tradicional. Ao agregar liquidez das finanças tradicionais e do mercado cripto, o objetivo é fornecer um mercado on-chain para ativos reais, como petróleo e commodities, que possam ser negociados instantaneamente. Seu principal produto, a plataforma Omni, adota um modelo de taxa zero e combina um mecanismo de pool de liquidez para aumentar a profundidade do mercado e a eficiência da execução.
