De acordo com o Cointelegraph, o World, uma rede de identidade co-fundada pelo CEO da OpenAI, Sam Altman, lançou o AgentKit, um kit de ferramentas para desenvolvedores que permite que agentes de IA provem sua associação com humanos únicos verificados através do World ID ao interagir com sites e serviços online.
O relatório afirma que o sistema combina a identificação humana via World ID com o protocolo de micropagamento x402 iniciado pela Coinbase e Cloudflare, permitindo que agentes paguem pelo acesso a recursos online enquanto fornecem prova criptográfica de sua associação com credenciais humanas verificadas.
O protocolo x402 permite que agentes paguem pequenas taxas para acessar sites, APIs e outros serviços. De acordo com o anúncio, desde seu lançamento em 2025, o ecossistema processou mais de 100 milhões de transações de pagamento, cobrindo aplicativos, APIs e agentes de IA.
