Adam Back Points Out Market Will Reject Personal Views Imposed on Bitcoin
Blockstream co-founder Adam Back expressed his views discussing the group supporting the BIP110 fork and Francis Pouliot's discussion on the realities of Bitcoin, emphasizing the actual operational logic of the Bitcoin network. The controversy lies not in the block content but in the attempts to overturn the consensus mechanism and undermine Bitcoin's immutability. Even with good intentions, the market will not accept such actions. BIP110 faced severe failures during technical review, with numerous flaws, and its supporters did not listen to feedback or proposed corrections, instead pushing the proposal forcefully. Back pointed out that any attempt to impose personal views on Bitcoin will ultimately be rejected by the market. He mentioned that while the meme about "Big Bitcoin" is well-intentioned, it aims to help understand Bitcoin's immutability.
