Arthur Hayes Predicts a Super Bull Market for Digital Assets

By: www.blockmedia.co.kr|10/09/2026 01:09:12

Arthur Hayes, the Chief Investment Officer of Maelstrom, stated that the next super bull market for digital assets will begin by overcoming the "wall of anxiety." He diagnosed that fears, uncertainties, and doubts (FUD) related to AI technology will be the main sources of anxiety in the market this year. Hayes emphasized that at the beginning of every super bull market, the market must overcome various concerns, explaining that major sources of anxiety included the Bitcoin block size debate in 2017, the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and the collapse of FTX and central bank interest rate hikes in 2023. He predicted that fears surrounding AI-based digital asset technology will dominate the market by 2026. Hayes analyzed that a credit crisis could arise from the massive funding required to build AI infrastructure, leading to increased liquidity. He argued that if central banks lower interest rates and print more money, additional liquidity will flow into the financial markets, driving up digital asset prices. He forecasted that Bitcoin could reach $1 million by 2030, predicting the most dramatic price increases will occur between late 2027 and early 2028.
