Binance Sees $1 Billion Net Inflow of Stablecoins in August, $5.1 Billion Net Outflow Year-to-Date

In August, Binance recorded over $1 billion in net inflow of stablecoins, indicating a slight recovery in liquidity. However, year-to-date, Binance has seen a net outflow of approximately $5.1 billion in stablecoins, accounting for 71% of the total stablecoin flow across the network. During the same period, major exchanges experienced a total outflow of over $16 billion in stablecoin reserves. The continued outflow of stablecoins suggests that liquidity is leaving the crypto market, with weak demand leading to a decline in stablecoin reserves at exchanges. Despite facing capital outflows, Bitcoin still achieved an approximate 25% increase in August, with prices surpassing $75,000. However, if demand does not sustain its recovery, BTC may enter another adjustment phase.
