Binance.US Applies for CFTC License to Enter Prediction Market

Steve Gregory, the CEO of Binance.US, stated at the Rare Evo blockchain conference that the company will apply for a Designated Contract Market (DCM) license from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in August to offer prediction market services, challenging platforms like Kalshi and Polymarket. According to CFTC guidelines, a DCM can legally trade futures or options contracts based on any commodity, index, or instrument, and applicants must adhere to 23 core principles.
