Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong expressed on CNBC's program that reaching $400,000 for Bitcoin by the year 2030 is a reasonable target. Armstrong noted that the Clarity Act regulation in the U.S. could bring clarity to the sector and suggested that the recent downturn in Bitcoin might have already seen its bottom. Evaluating Bitcoin price movements in approximately four-year cycles, Armstrong stated that he believes the bottom of the current cycle may have already been reached. He cited the drop of Bitcoin below $57,717 on July 1, 2026, followed by a rise above $60,000 as evidence for his viewpoint. Additionally, he mentioned that the next Bitcoin halving is expected to occur in April 2028, which could have an impact on prices. In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin increased by 1.21%, rising to $79,070. Armstrong argued that the market could be supported by regulatory and cyclical structures.
