CryptoQuant Identifies New Bull Market for Bitcoin, Requires Close Above 83000 USD
Eight of the 10 valuation metrics from CryptoQuant show bullish signals for Bitcoin. Bitcoin needs a daily close above 83000 USD to confirm the regime change. CryptoQuant indicates that Bitcoin has entered a new market regime, with its Bull Score rising from 30 to 80 in a week, the most optimistic reading since October 2025. Spot demand also supports this shift, recording its largest monthly expansion since December. However, the market must overcome a concrete test: a daily close above the 365-day moving average, close to 83000 USD. Glassnode also identifies resistance between 81000 and 86000 USD, where a significant portion of long-term holders' supply is concentrated, which could increase selling pressure. Long-term holders have reduced their net supply, and realized gains have increased. CryptoQuant estimates that unrealized gains for traders reached 20.5%, the highest level since June 2025. Whales recorded 614 million USD in realized gains on August 20. Bitcoin faces a dual situation: demand and indicators point to a new bullish phase, but the zone between 81000 and 86000 USD will be key. A close above 86000 USD would confirm CryptoQuant's thesis; otherwise, profit-taking could increase.
