The assets of Hu Xiaowei, the "number two" figure of the Cambodian Prince Group, have been frozen and restricted globally. UK land registry information shows that a mansion located in Belgravia, central London, has recently been frozen. The property was purchased for £53 million in October 2023, with the title registered in the name of Hu Xiaowei's wife, Zhao Chen. Additionally, Hu Xiaowei is also facing a money laundering investigation in Singapore. In June of this year, Singapore police disclosed that they are investigating Hu Xiaowei and his associated company, Future Oasis, for suspected money laundering, with the total amount of assets frozen, seized, or restricted from disposal exceeding 60 million Singapore dollars.
