Hyperliquid HIP-3 Generates $75 Million in Revenue, $37.5 Million Allocated for Token Buyback and Burn
Hyperliquid HIP-3 has generated a total revenue of $75 million, of which $37.5 million is allocated to the deployer, and another $37.5 million is used for the buyback and burn of Hyperliquid's native tokens. HIP-3 is a mechanism for the deployer to launch perpetual markets on Hyperliquid, allowing them to define their own oracles and contract specifications while being responsible for operations, and simultaneously reusing the protocol's order book and clearing infrastructure. The related market fees are typically shared between the deployer and the protocol in proportion, with the protocol's revenue available for buyback and burn.

The Wormhole (W) price rose more than 60% in 24 hours on October 11 and 12, 2026, and about 100% over seven days on KuCoin's data. Sources link the move to altcoin rotation, not a new Wormhole event. W 2.0, HYPE and RLUSD are 2025 and 2026 developments that give context but do not prove the rally's cause.
