Job postings in crypto companies rose to 1,241 in September
In the cryptocurrency sector, job postings reached 1,241 in September. The number of postings, which was 382 in July and 886 in August, peaked in September. However, the number of applications declined, falling below 20,000. There were 25,700 applications recorded in July and 24,631 in August. Despite the increase in open positions, the decrease in applications indicates heightened competition for qualified workers. The number of hiring companies also rose to 125 in September. The highest demand in the last three months was seen in the finance sector, followed by engineering and trading positions. Areas such as stablecoins, artificial intelligence, security, and compliance were also among the most sought-after expertise. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana emerged as the most requested blockchain networks. The increase in job postings in September can be partially explained by the end of the summer season, but the data suggests a rise beyond seasonal effects. There was a stagnation in crypto hiring in 2025.
