Kenson Investments Publishes New Education Series on the SEC’s Proposed Crypto Offering Framework
New educational resources help market participants understand the SEC's proposed Regulation Crypto Assets framework and its potential implications for the digital asset ecosystem.
[Charlotte, South Carolina] -- [September 25, 2026] -- Kenson Investments today announced the launch of a new educational content series focused on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's recently proposed Regulation Crypto Assets framework. The initiative is designed to provide neutral, educational explanations of the proposal through white papers, knowledge center resources, and blog content that help market participants better understand ongoing regulatory developments in the digital asset sector.
The announcement follows the SEC's August 2026 proposal of Regulation Crypto Assets, a proposed framework intended to create a tailored offering regime for certain investment contracts involving crypto assets. According to the SEC, the proposal includes two exemptions from registration requirements, one allowing eligible offerings of up to $5 million during a four-year period and another allowing eligible offerings of up to $75 million during a 12-month period, subject to specified disclosure and reporting requirements. The proposal also includes a conditional safe harbor addressing when certain crypto assets may no longer be associated with an investment contract under federal securities laws.
As public discussion surrounding the proposal continues, Kenson Investments is expanding its educational resources to help informed market participants navigate increasingly complex regulatory conversations. The series does not advocate for any regulatory outcome and is intended solely to explain key concepts, terminology, and considerations contained within publicly available SEC materials.
The educational series will examine several areas that have attracted significant attention since the proposal was released. These include the structure of the proposed offering exemptions, disclosure requirements, reporting obligations, and the concept of a conditional safe harbor for certain crypto asset projects. The content will also explain the public comment process and how proposed rules move through the regulatory system before any potential implementation.
According to SEC materials, the proposal seeks to create a framework specifically tailored to certain investment contracts involving crypto assets while maintaining investor protection measures and disclosure requirements. The SEC has stated that the proposal is intended to provide greater clarity for market participants and reduce uncertainty surrounding certain crypto asset offerings. Public comments on the proposal are scheduled to remain open through October 20, 2026.
The release of the educational series comes during a period of heightened attention on digital asset regulation in the United States. Regulatory agencies, policymakers, technology developers, and market participants continue to evaluate how existing legal frameworks interact with emerging digital asset technologies. Recent regulatory actions and proposals have generated substantial discussion regarding disclosure standards, market transparency, and the long-term development of digital asset markets.
Kenson Investments noted that educational resources are becoming increasingly important as the volume and complexity of regulatory developments continue to expand. Many participants entering the digital asset space encounter specialized terminology and legal concepts that may not be familiar to individuals without prior exposure to securities law or blockchain technology.
The new content series will include explanatory articles, research summaries, frequently asked questions, and educational white papers intended to translate complex regulatory language into accessible information. The resources will emphasize factual explanations drawn from publicly available regulatory materials and official government publications.
Kenson Investments stated that the series aligns with its broader commitment to providing educational content related to digital assets, blockchain technology, market structure developments, and risk awareness. By focusing on publicly available information and regulatory source materials, the organization aims to support informed discussions around the evolving digital asset environment.
