Metis Launches Rise Monthly Developer Incentive Program to Reward AI Agent Deployment Teams

By: x.com|10/08/2026 02:16:43

The Ethereum L2 network Metis has launched the Metis Rise monthly developer incentive program, aimed at rewarding teams that deploy new AI Agents on the Metis Andromeda mainnet, acquire real users, and generate on-chain economic activities. The program focuses on the economic usability of AI Agents, involving four types of needs: payments (x402), identity (ERC-8004), stablecoin escrow, and independently verifiable on-chain signed receipts. It supports any AI Agent framework and hosting method, including ClawUp, GOAT AgentKit, or self-built backends, and supports a dual-chain architecture based on the GOAT Network. Developers must meet monthly conditions: at least 15 active users, with each user completing at least 3 qualified transactions or settling amounts of no less than $2 on Metis Andromeda. The main user transactions, settlement volumes, and gas consumption must occur on the Metis Andromeda mainnet. Meanwhile, Metis is building an execution and data layer for AI Agents, with Andromeda's decentralized sequencer (DSeq) eliminating single points of failure from trustless exchanges between Agents. Metis Rise is hosted by Metis, with ClawUp, GOAT Network, and LazAI as ecosystem partners.
