Nscale to Acquire Anyscale for $1.65 Billion

Cloud service provider Nscale plans to acquire computing software company Anyscale for $1.65 billion. Following the transaction, approximately 200 employees from Anyscale will join Nscale. Anyscale completed funding in 2022, with a valuation exceeding $1 billion. Nscale was established in early 2024, originally as a cryptocurrency mining company, and is headquartered in London, providing dedicated computing power rental services for artificial intelligence while developing large data centers in Norway and West Virginia. Nscale announced plans for an IPO last year, which could occur as early as the second half of 2026.
