Payments under the 'green' tariff reached 83%, totaling 24.38 billion UAH
As of August 20, the Guaranteed Buyer JSC has paid producers of electricity from renewable sources 24.38 billion UAH, closing 83% of payments for 2026. Solar generation accounted for over 96% of all purchased 'green' electricity. From January to July 2026, the company purchased 3.369 million MWh of electricity from renewable sources. The shares of generation sources are as follows: solar generation - 96.62%, hydropower - 1.56%, bioenergy - 1.47%, wind energy - 0.35%. The monthly payment levels for 2026 are: January - 80.4%, February - 80.2%, March - 88%, April - 98.1%, May - 77.3%, June - 86.5%, July - 64.9%. The highest payment rate was recorded in April (98.1%), while the lowest was in July (64.9%). On August 25, the Guaranteed Buyer transferred over 1.93 billion UAH for electricity produced during the first two decades of August, achieving 100% payments for this period. On August 26, 439.9 million UAH was sent for July electricity, raising the payment level for July to 72.5%. By the end of June, the Guaranteed Buyer had paid over 14.5 billion UAH, and the total debt of Ukrenergo to the renewable energy market exceeds 14 billion UAH.
