Strategy CEO Phong Le stated that the announcement by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) allowing tokenized securities to pilot trading in automated market making and liquidity pools will lead to a market landscape over the next five years that is "faster, more modern, and perpetually open." Once investors experience this market landscape, it may evolve into a long-term norm, making it difficult for the market to revert to traditional limited trading hours and structures influenced by specific regulators.
