The number of Shiba Inu wallets exceeded 1.69 million in 2026

The number of wallets in the Shiba Inu ecosystem continued to grow throughout 2026. Etherscanshib reported that 147,593 new wallets were added to the number of addresses holding SHIB since the beginning of the year. In an update on October 30, 2026, 210 new holders were recorded, bringing the total number of SHIB holders to 1,696,223. This indicates that Shiba Inu has maintained its on-chain visibility even during a period of price pressure. As the number of SHIB holders approaches the 1.7 million mark, market participants are watching to see if this growth rate will continue. However, the price outlook remains weak; SHIB has dropped to $0.0000047 with a decrease of 1.89% in the last 24 hours and has lost 18.12% in value throughout October. Additionally, unauthorized fund outflows on Binance affected token assets worth $6.3 billion, with approximately 500 billion SHIB, or 0.05% of the total supply, reported to be impacted. Nevertheless, Shiba Inu continues to expand its use cases; the travel platform Travala has started supporting car rental payments with SHIB.
