Trump Criticizes Lengthy Iran Negotiations

During a cabinet meeting, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his frustration with Iran's negotiation tactics, stating that a problem that could be solved in 10 minutes took 7 hours instead. He emphasized that the U.S. only wants to win and noted that Iran is suffering significant losses, lacking naval, air, and air defense capabilities, yet still possesses some abilities. Trump reiterated that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons, claiming that if it did, the Middle East would have already been destroyed. He anticipated that Washington would take very severe actions against Iran and mentioned that Iran fired five missiles at Jordan during the negotiations, which led to his increasing distrust of the Iranians. Trump mentioned that an agreement could be reached, with participants including Vitekoff, Kushner, Vance, and Rubio.
