VanEck's Head of Digital Asset Research, Matthew Sigel, stated that Bitcoin's hash rate is nearing an all-time high of 1,038 EH/s, with the next halving expected in April 2028. According to calculations, an S21 XP miner priced at $3,459 would require Bitcoin to average around $100,000 during the halving period to break even, assuming an electricity cost of $0.08, constant hash rate, and a three-year depreciation. To achieve cash recovery by the end of 2028, it would need to reach approximately $116,000. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is $77,500.
