De acordo com o CoinPost, a Agência de Serviços Financeiros do Japão anunciou que apoiará um projeto piloto para medidas de combate à lavagem de dinheiro (AML) relacionadas a ativos cripto (moedas virtuais). O projeto foi solicitado pela Hitachi, e 13 empresas estão participando, incluindo GMO Coin, Chainalysis Japan, NEC, JPYC e Bitbank.
O experimento ocorrerá de março a maio de 2026, principalmente para verificar a eficácia do compartilhamento de informações sobre endereços de carteiras suspeitas entre várias exchanges de criptomoedas e operadores de stablecoins, visando construir um sistema de combate à lavagem de dinheiro mais eficiente em toda a indústria.
