How to Join WEEX WE-Launch in 2026: WEEX Token (WXT) Requirements, Steps, and Rewards

WEEX WE-Launch is an event-based airdrop program for eligible WEEX Token (WXT) holders. To participate under the current general rules, open an active event, select Join Now, and maintain an average of at least 300 WXT in your spot account during that event. WEEX calculates eligibility from hourly holding snapshots and distributes qualifying rewards after the event. Holding WXT without joining an event does not enroll you.
The step that deserves the most attention is the event-wide average, not the WXT balance visible when you press Join Now. Buying WXT late, moving it out of your spot account, or assuming an older “commit WXT” tutorial still applies can change your eligibility. Check the individual project’s dates, thresholds, reward rules, and distribution schedule before making a decision.
What Is WEEX WE-Launch?
WE-Launch lets eligible users join individual events for a share of a stated reward pool. A project page identifies the reward asset, event period, participation requirements, and any additional terms. The reward might be a project token or another asset specified for that event; it is not automatically a token that you can already buy through a WEEX spot pair.
The program uses WEEX Token (WXT) holdings to determine eligibility and reward allocation. Under WEEX’s current participation guide, you do not need to lock, stake, or submit WXT to the event. Your WXT remains in your spot account, where changes to its balance can affect the event calculation.
Joining WE-Launch has no participation fee. Acquiring WXT through a spot trade may still involve trading fees, a bid-ask spread, and changes in WXT’s market price. The WEEX guide to buying WXT explains the purchase route if you do not already hold it.
What Are the Current WEEX Token (WXT) Holding Requirements?
The general WE-Launch participation rules state that an eligible participant must join the relevant event and maintain average hourly WXT spot holdings of at least 300 WXT over its full duration. The standard maximum eligible holding amount is 500,000 WXT per user. An individual event may specify different conditions, so read its page before applying these general figures.
Only eligible WXT in your WEEX spot account counts toward the snapshots. According to the participation guide, WXT in staking, another account, or a locked, frozen, or restricted balance does not count. You can sell, transfer, or withdraw accessible WXT during an event, but doing so may lower your average and affect your reward.
An older WE-Launch tutorial described holding 1,000 WXT for two consecutive days, selecting Commit WXT, and calculating an eligible commitment amount from those two days. Those instructions describe a previous participation mechanism. The updated guide instead tells users to select Join Now and bases eligibility on average holdings throughout the event. If a page you encounter still uses the older wording, check the dated announcement and terms for the specific live event before following it.
How Do You Join WEEX WE-Launch on the Website?
These steps keep the original tutorial’s practical walkthrough while using the current participation rules.
Step 1: Create or Sign In to Your WEEX Account
Go to WEEX and sign in. If you are new, create an account and complete any verification required for the event. WEEX’s participation guide describes participation as once per verified account per event; the project announcement may add further eligibility restrictions.

If you’re using a phone, please Download the app to sign up on WEEX or log in.

Step 2: Get WXT Into Your Spot Account
Open the WXT/USDT spot market if you plan to buy WXT with USDT. Check the trading pair, choose an order type, enter the amount, and review the quoted price and fees before submitting an order. After the order fills, go to Assets → Spot and confirm the WXT balance is there.
The threshold concerns your average during the event, so a purchase made near the end may not raise that average enough. There is no need to buy WXT if you already have sufficient eligible holdings in your spot account. For help with funding the purchase, read WEEX’s step-by-step WXT buying guide.
You have to hold at least 1000 WXT in your spot account for 2 consecutive days to be eligible. Here’s how to buy WXT on WEEX.
For Web
Trade WXT USDT here or navigate to the We-Launch section in the navigation bar and click it.

Click Buy WXT on the page.

Enter the amount of the WXT you want to buy.

For Phone
If you’re using a phone, tap the "WEEX WE-Launch" option on the WEEX homepage and then tap the “Buy WXT” button.

Enter the amount you want to buy, select your payment method, and review the exchange rate before confirming.

If you want to know more about how to buy WXT, follow this guide and continue.
Note:
- You will not be eligible to participate if the snapshot of your spot account WXT holdings falls below 1000 WXT on any of the 2 consecutive days.
- Locked coins will not be included in the amount that can be committed.
Step 3: Open an Active Project and Read Its Rules
Visit the WE-Launch event list and select a project marked as ongoing. Before joining, check:
- The event’s start and end times, including its stated time zone.
- The reward asset and total prize pool.
- The minimum average WXT holding requirement and any eligible holding cap.
- Any project-specific multiplier, bonus, verification requirement, or excluded account type.
- The expected result and distribution schedule.
Do not treat a project shown under Ended, Settling, or Upcoming as an event you can necessarily join now. Project announcements provide useful detail, but the current event page and its applicable terms should guide your action.
Step 4: Select Join Now for That Project
On the chosen event page, select Join Now and check that the page confirms your enrollment. Simply holding WXT does not automatically register you. If several events are running at once, join each one you want to enter separately. The same eligible spot holdings may be assessed for multiple events under each event’s own rules; you do not have to transfer or lock WXT for each one.

Step 5: Monitor Your Holdings and Check the Result
Keep track of the WXT in your spot account for the whole event period. A balance displayed at one moment is not your final event average. After the event closes, check the project page and your reward or distribution history for the final result. The exact crediting time comes from that event’s rules or announcement; a preliminary estimate is not a confirmed reward.
If an event offers an extra incentive, read its separate conditions. For example, WEEX’s Aptos (APT) WE-Launch announcement for September 24 to October 1, 2026 (UTC) describes an additional reward for eligible first-time participants. That dated bonus should not be assumed to apply to every future project.
How Do You Join WEEX WE-Launch in the App?
- Download or open the official WEEX app and sign in.
- Check Assets → Spot to confirm your WXT is in the spot account. If you need to acquire WXT, find its spot pair, review the order, and confirm the resulting spot balance.
- Find the WE-Launch entry in the app and open an event that is currently accepting participants. App navigation can change, so use the project page and event status as the final check.
- Read that event’s dates and terms, then tap Join Now. Confirm that your participation was recorded.
- Return to the event page after it ends to check the result and distribution information.
If the app entry or button is difficult to find, open the WE-Launch page on the WEEX website and sign in there. Avoid relying on an old app screenshot to identify a button that may have moved.

How Are Average WXT Holdings Calculated?
WEEX says it takes multiple random snapshots during each hour of an event. The snapshots produce an average holding for that hour; the hourly results then produce the average across the event.
Average holdings for an hour = WXT recorded in that hour’s snapshots ÷ number of snapshots in that hour
Average holdings for the event = sum of hourly average holdings ÷ total event hours
Consider a simplified 72-hour event:
| Illustrative holding pattern | Approximate event average | Meets a 300 WXT average threshold? |
|---|---|---|
| 300 WXT for all 72 hours | 300 WXT | Yes |
| 300 WXT for the first 6 hours; 0 afterward | 25 WXT | No |
| 0 WXT for the first 48 hours; 600 WXT for the final 24 hours | 200 WXT | No |
These examples assume stable holdings within each hour. WEEX’s actual snapshots are random, so a brief balance change within an hour can affect the measured result. The practical lesson is to consider the entire event period before selling or moving WXT. WEEX’s participation guide explains which account balances are included.

How Are WE-Launch Rewards Calculated?
Eligibility is the first check; reward allocation is the next. Under WEEX’s current WE-Launch participation guide, a qualifying user’s share depends on final weighted holdings relative to those of all eligible participants:
Estimated reward = your final weighted holdings ÷ all participants’ final weighted holdings × the reward pool
Your final weighted holdings = your effective event holdings × the applicable reward multiplier
An event page specifies the relevant tiers and multipliers. Do not assume that buying one more WXT always produces a proportional increase in rewards: your own average, the applicable tier, the number of other eligible participants, and their weighted holdings all matter.
Here is an illustrative calculation, not a current WEEX tier schedule. Suppose a 1,000-token pool has only two eligible participants:
| Participant | Illustrative effective holdings | Illustrative multiplier | Weighted holdings | Approximate share |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | 2,999 WXT | 1.00× | 2,999 | 48.77%, or 487.7 tokens |
| B | 3,000 WXT | 1.05× | 3,150 | 51.23%, or 512.3 tokens |
The combined weighted holdings are 6,149, so A’s example allocation is 2,999 ÷ 6,149 × 1,000, while B’s is 3,150 ÷ 6,149 × 1,000. The old tutorial used this pair of holding amounts to demonstrate how a multiplier changes allocation. For a real event, use its published tier table and final eligible-participant totals; a displayed estimate can change before settlement.
WE-Launch rewards are not distributed on a first-come, first-served basis under the general guide. Joining early can give you more time to meet an event-long holding requirement, but pressing Join Now before someone else does not by itself fix your share of the pool.
Why Might a WE-Launch Reward Be Missing or Smaller Than Expected?
Work through these checks in order:
- Check enrollment. Open the exact project page and confirm you selected Join Now for that event. Joining a previous event does not enroll you in a new one.
- Check the account holding WXT. Confirm the relevant WXT was in Assets → Spot, not in staking or another account excluded from snapshots.
- Check the full event period. Compare the stated start and end times with when you acquired, sold, transferred, or withdrew WXT. A last-minute balance may not meet the event-wide average.
- Check the project’s own rules. Review its minimum, maximum eligible holdings, multiplier tiers, account verification requirements, exclusions, and any bonus conditions.
- Check the event status. A project that has ended may still be calculating results or awaiting distribution. Use its announced schedule before treating an absent credit as an error.
- Compare estimated and final rewards. Your share can change as other users’ eligible weighted holdings are finalized. A bonus may also be credited separately under its own terms.
If the final distribution time has passed and the result still appears wrong, contact WEEX through the official Help Center. Include the project name, event dates, the enrollment confirmation if available, and relevant spot balance or reward-history screenshots. Hide passwords, verification codes, and other sensitive information.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I Still Need to Hold 1,000 WXT for Two Consecutive Days?
That was the rule described in the older tutorial supplied for this update. WEEX’s newer general guide uses at least 300 WXT in average hourly spot holdings during the event and requires you to select Join Now. Always check the specific event page for exceptions.
2. Do I Need to Commit or Lock WXT?
Under the current general participation guide, no. Eligible WXT remains in your spot account. You can trade or withdraw it, but a lower spot balance may reduce your event average or make you ineligible.
3. Does Joining Guarantee an Airdrop?
No. You must join the particular event, meet its average holding requirement, and satisfy its other eligibility rules. A reward estimate is not the final distribution result.
4. Can I Join More Than One WE-Launch Event?
Yes, the general guide says you may join multiple simultaneous events. Select Join Now for each event separately; your spot holdings are assessed according to each event’s rules.
5. Is WE-Launch Free if I Have to Buy WXT?
WEEX does not charge a fee to join the airdrop event. Buying or selling WXT is a separate trade that may involve trading costs and market price changes. You do not need to make a new purchase if you already hold enough eligible WXT in your spot account.
The WEEX Editorial View: Check Enrollment and the Full-Event Average
The current WE-Launch process is simpler than the old commitment walkthrough, but it requires two deliberate checks: join the specific project and understand how your spot WXT balance will average across its entire event period. Neither a one-time balance screenshot nor an old “Commit WXT” instruction answers those questions. Start with the live WE-Launch page, read the chosen project’s terms, and use the current WEEX participation guide when checking the general calculation method.
