香港特区のニュース公報によると、香港警察はシンガポール、韓国、タイなど9か国および地域の法執行機関と連携し、越境詐欺およびマネーロンダリング活動を取り締まることを発表しました。この取り組みは3月10日から5月7日まで行われ、合計で3018人が逮捕され、13.8万件以上の詐欺事件が関与し、総損失は約7.52億ドル（約58.9億香港ドル）に上ります。
取り組みの期間中、法執行機関は合計で101,989の銀行口座を凍結し、約1.61億ドル（約12.6億香港ドル）の詐欺資金を成功裏に押収しました。その中で、香港警察は870人を逮捕し、約5.39億香港ドルの資金を押収しました。最大の事件は、シンガポールの企業が3600万ドル（約2.8億香港ドル）を騙し取られたもので、関連する資金はその後香港および他の地域の複数の銀行口座に流入しました。そのうち約半分はステーブルコインに変換され、異なる仮想資産ウォレットに分散されました。警察の追跡により、そのうち2000万ドルの資金が成功裏に凍結されました。
調査によると、詐欺グループは仮想資産プラットフォームを通じてマネーロンダリングを行う傾向が上昇しており、各地は引き続き情報共有と協力メカニズムを通じて、仮想資産犯罪に対する対応能力を向上させる必要があります。
