AI GPU cloud platform Hyperbolic has announced the completion of a $30 million Series A1 financing round, led by Walden Catalyst, with participation from Dell Technologies Capital, General Catalyst, Vista Equity Partners, Cambium Capital, Salience Capital, and others. The funds will be used to advance the unified control plane Forge, expand multi-cloud orchestration solutions and value-added services, and develop the first Global Compute Grid. Hyperbolic aims to unify decentralized GPU computing power and improve utilization rates. Forge standardizes heterogeneous bare-metal GPU clusters and provides a unified management interface. Hyperbolic currently serves over 250,000 AI builders and plans to further support the buying and reselling of computing power, allowing GPU capacity to be used on demand like electricity. Previously, Hyperbolic completed a $12 million Series A financing round in December 2024, led by Polychain Capital and Variant, with participation from IOSG Ventures, Wintermute, GSR, and others.
