Biloxi Tribe Launches Prediction Market Application with Kalshi
Tunica, Louisiana, USA - The Biloxi Tribe, through its newly established subsidiary SaltTrade Derivatives, has partnered with Kalshi to launch the first prediction market application operated by a Native American tribe, becoming the first Native American tribe to enter the prediction market industry. The application is built on Kalshi's infrastructure, allowing users to trade event contracts linked to the outcomes of future events. The CFTC has issued a conditional no-action letter to the tribe, providing a regulatory framework for its participation in the event contract market. Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour stated that this collaboration demonstrates how regulated national infrastructure and tribal entrepreneurship can thrive together.
